White Flowers

Christina Mior (Borg) passed away peacefully on April 26, 2021. Born in Nipigon in 1943 she is survived by her husband Arthur of 60 years and four sons.

Melvin (Sandra) and children, Jason, Andrew (Michelle), and great-granddaughter Abigail.

Derrick (Janice) and children Danielle and Ashley

Randy (Paula) and children Nicole (Kevin) and great-grandson (Noah), Stephanie (predeceased), and Justin (Anne)

Gregory (Donna) and children Danial and Bradley


Christina was predeceased by her parents Florence and Ole Borg, brothers Darcy, Ragnar, Randy (infant), sisters Lorraine Eadie and Loretta Palmer.

She is survived by brother George (Ruth deceased), Conrad (Rachel), Bob (Carolyn), and sisters Geraldine Neil, Regina Cheney, Eulalia Michano, and sister-in-law Anne Antonen (Bruce).


Far too many nieces and nephews to mention.


Christina’s main interests were raising her four boys, loving and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren


Enjoyed the old gals luncheon club with friends Ruth Bowiec, Delores Jewitt, Mandy Spedding, Denise Bissonnette.


Special Thanks to Doctors Amir Faghih and Marion Hagerty at the Northern Cancer Care, staff at the Tamarak House, and Doctors Lisa Habermehl, Mandy Spencer, and Jennifer Wesley, Homecare Nurses, Nurse Practioner Alexis Peplinski and all the nurses in palliative care at L.O.W hospital.

Interment will be held at St.Andrews Catholic Cemetery in Thunder Bay at a later date.
