It is with fond memories and loving hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather Romeo Aubuchon at Pinecrest Home on Thursday, April 13 2017 at the age of 96.
Romeo is survived by his only daughter Peggy (Michael), Son in Law Brent, Grandchildren Crystal (Jamie) and Brendan (Kim) Great Grandchildren Danika, Graydon, Sullivan, Jett, Nashton and Bowen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Romeo was predeceased by his beloved wife Josie, his parents Abondeus and Elizabeth, 11 brothers and 1 Sister.
Romeo was born April 1 1921 in Macamic, Quebec and grew up with a love of nature and the outdoors and found fulfillment in career by working in the outdoors.
Devoted Father, Grandfather and Great Grand father he spent many hours recounting stories of his childhood and his life events. He also loved listening to stories of others and took great pride in the accomplishments of his daughter and his grand children. He also enjoyed watching his daughter and grandchildren participate in sports and could be regularly seen at the baseball fields or curling club.
He enjoyed fishing and wood carving and took great delight in the deer that would gather in the yard at Pinecrest.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Pinecrest for their care and compassion.
A come and go celebration of Romeo’s life will be held at Pinecrest Auditorium Friday April 21st from 1:30-3:30pm. If friends so desire and in lieu of flowers donations in Romeo’s memory may be made to Pinecrest Home for the Aged.
