Mil was born March 7, 1944 to the late Gordon and Eva Davis.

Mil also leaves behind her neighborhood family Tammy & Terry Stagg (Taylor, Justin); Joyce & Mike Murray (Katie); and her lifelong friend Carolyn Hansen, as well as numerous cousins.

Mil was a proud member of the Keewatin Public School staff during her working years. Mil was very involved in her community of Keewatin and was a member of many clubs and associations, a few being Past President of the Keewatin Curling Club; A member of St. Andrews's United Church; Beatty Park Gardens; and was the first female Councillor of Keewatin.

If anyone was ever in need of a helping hand or if her community needed a volunteer, Mil was there ready to go. "How can I help?" Gardening was her passion and she spent many hours in her own garden, her friends' gardens, and Beatty Park. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Mil's life will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 1:00pm at St. Andrew's United Church, 211 Bay Street, Keewatin ON.

"May the Lord watch between me and thee, while we are absent one from the other."
