Loretta Garrow

October 27, 1934 - February 16, 2022

 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Loretta Garrow at the age of 87 at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital on February 16, 2022 with her family by her side.

 

Leaving behind with many wonderful memories are her children Allan, Arlene (Graeme) and Lynn (Don). Grandchildren Jeremy, Nathan, Mathew, Jordan (Bethan), Aron, Bradley (Jaime) And Jennifer (Ryan). Great grand daughter Kayde who instantly stole moms heart. She also leaves behind her baby sister Diane (Keith) who was very dear to her.

 

Loretta was predeceased by the love of her life Gordon, her parents Len and Mildred Watson, her in laws Frank and Adine Garrow, infant grandson Scott, Great Grand daughter Lucy and many friends and family.

 

Many will remember Mom from Lorette’s confectionary in Norman and the Lake View Restaurant where she always welcomed you with a smile! She was a very generous kind soul who most often put others before herself.

 

She was a member of the catholic womens league since 1965 as well a long standing member of the Ladies Auxillary of the Royal Canadian Legion. She loved to garden, play cards with her buddies and of course we can’t forget Bingo! But her true passion was spending time with her family.

 

Mom had many individuals who made it possible for her to remain at home as long as possible and to all of them we are forever grateful and we can’t thank you enough.

 

A private family internment will be held at a later date.
