IT IS WITH REGRET AND HEAVY HEARTS THAT WE ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF ALLAN STANLEY NORDSTROM ON MAR 23RD 2019 AT THE AGE OF 66.

 

 AL WAS A LOVING FATHER, GRANDFATHER, BROTHER AND FRIEND.

 

HE IS PREDECEASED BY HIS PARENTS STAN AND ELSIE AND GRANDPARENTS SAM AND RUTH NORDSTROM, EMILE AND IDA LITKE AND GRANDSON ERIC WYDER.

 

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS SISTER LINDA MCINNES (MAC); DAUGHTERS TARA WYDER (BRAD) AND GRANDSON CAMERON; KIMBERLEY RAJTEK (ANDREW) AND GRANDDAUGHTERS KAITLYNN, GRACE, AND MARY; KELSEY NORDSTROM (JAMES); AND HIS BEST FRIEND AND LOVE OF HIS LIFE DONNA DIXON.

 

AL WAS A KIND AND GENEROUS PERSON, ALWAYS READY TO GIVE A HELPING HAND TO ANYONE WHO ASKED. HE LOVED THE OUTDOORS AND ENJOYED GOING OUT TO CAMP, FISHING, HUNTING AND TRAP SHOOTING. HE WAS ALSO A GREAT COOK AND WAS ALWAYS MAKING MEALS, BAKING SHORTBREAD, PICKLING, OR DOING BREAKFAST OUT AT CAMP. THE OTHER PASSTIMES HE ENJOYED WERE RAISING TROPICAL FISH, GOING TO GARAGE SALES, BBQ-ING ON THE DECK, WATCHING MOVIES, TAKING TRIPS TO WARROAD WITH HIS SISTER OR DAUGHTERS AND PLAYING POKER WITH HIS BUDDIES.

 

WE WILL ALL MISS YOU AL. YOU ARE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER. WE WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.

 

A CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE ALCOCK FUNERAL HOME APRIL 25TH AT 1 P.M.  A PRIVATE INTERNMENT WILL TAKE PLACE At A LATER DATE.   IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, DONATIONS CAN BE MADE TO THE HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION, THE LOCAL CAT SHELTER OR IT’S A DOGS LIFE.
