July 20, 2017
On a warm and sunny summer day, July 20, 2017 with his dog Crystal at his side, Gary was called to be with his parents, Adella and Andrew, brothers George and Donald, sisters Linda Adamson and Shirley, brothers in-law Bob Adamson, Bruce Langdon and nephew Ryan Adamson. We’re sure it was quite the homecoming party!
Gary will be missed by his sons Joey and Gary (Danielle) and daughter Jennie as well as his grandchildren Brooklynn, Thomas, Kevin, Cameron, Cohen, Nikolai and Lincoln who he loved spending time with. Cherishing many great memories are his siblings Doreen Langdon, Carol (Bob) Saelens. Pat (Dennis) Todoschuk, Brian (Karen) Peloquin, Deanna (Wayne) Dokuchie, David (Lisa) Peloquin, sister in-law Cyndy and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Gary was born May 22, 1953 and grew up in a large catholic family, one of 11 siblings. He was an alter boy and attended Mount Carmel and Lakewood Schools. His first job was on the extra gang for the CPR. He was a painter, worked construction and any other job he needed to do while starting his family.
Gary was a well-respected tradesman in carpentry and drywall as well as a very creative craftsman. He was known for his problem solving abilities and calm demeanor in any situation. He was a happy go lucky guy and had many many friends. He had a passion for motorcycles and hot rods. Many hours were spent customizing and painting whenever he could.
Gary was a very unique individual and lived life on his own terms. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of a life well lived will take place at Gary’s residence on Saturday, August 5, 2017 from Noon to 3PM.
Gary’s family would like to thank all those who were instrumental in any way, big or small, in trying to save his life.
Soar like a “Pelican” Gary!
