Patrick Alan Lillico passed away peacefully at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital on Tuesday, January 24, 2017
Patrick was born on October 10, 1989 in Red Lake, Ontario. His family moved to Kenora when he was 2 years old.
He was a very compassionate and loving person, always looking out for others, especially his Mom, brother and Grandmother.
He had a witty sense of humour and always had a smile on his face. He loved summer as it gave him the freedom to get out and about in his wheelchair cruising along the Harbour Front or the Rotary Trail at Rabbit Lake. Patrick loved the outdoors and going for car rides with his friends exploring the country side.
He is survived by his mother Val Lillico, brother Shawn and Grandmother Bev Oldford.
He was predeceased by his father Dave Lillico, Grandparents Frank and Jean Lillico and Grandpa Marks Oldford.
He will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous friends whom he considered family.
The family would like to thank Doctor Clay Hammett and the Third floor nurses for their excellent and compassionate care of Patrick.
A celebration of Patrick’s life will take place at Lakeside Baptist Church on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kenora Association of Community Living – David Lillico Memorial Endowment Fund or to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital Foundation.
