Clara Nenadov

It is with profound sadness that the family of Clara Helen Nenadov (nee Zaroski) announces her peaceful passing on September 25 2022 at the age of 96 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Peter Nenadov.

Born in Coniston, Ontario on March 19, 1926, Clara was the youngest child of Andrew and Martha Zaroski (nee Zahavich) both pre-deceased. She outlived all her siblings and their spouses Anne and Conrad Malette, Julie and Malcolm Linklater and Walter and Kay Zaroski.

She followed her sisters into the nursing profession and in 1948 became a registered nurse, a career in which she worked all her life. She was proud of her Ukrainian Heritage and looked forward to holiday celebrations. Clara enjoyed travelling to Cuba with Peter and to Toronto to be one of “The Golden Girls” with her sisters visiting various cultural festivals.

She will be sadly missed by children Peter (Merry), Janice (Tom Anderson predeceased), and Stephen (Iris); grandchildren Alexander, Daniel, Ocean, Meadow (Greg) and Heaven; as well as the newest addition great granddaughter Lilia.

Clara is also survived by nieces and nephews Andrew (Terry) Malette, Michelle Malette, Kimberly (Roy) Kerr-Taylor, Mary Lynne Coulas and Mark Lawrence Zaroski.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Pine Crest Home for the Aged in Kenora, Ontario for all the care that you gave to Clara.
