Over the years he worked at CN, Birch Island, The Department of Highways, drove a school bus and fell in love with construction and created Lou Cordeiro Construction that he operated for close to 45 years. In the 90’s he opened Jo’s Bar and Grill and wore many hats – he was a waiter, bartender, cook and bouncer over the ten years it was opened.
He was well known in the community for his strong and enduring work ethic and would volunteer his time to help with community revitalization projects.
Luis was quick witted and at times could be very stubborn, above all he was fiercely loyal to those who knew him and generous to all.
