Theodore Cederwall

After a short illness, Ted passed away on February 11 with his family by his side.

Ted was raised in Keewatin but spent his younger years between his home in Keewatin and his grandparent’s farm in Pellatt.

In 1962 Ted moved his family to Sussex, Wisconsin where he worked as a stone cutter for Halquist Stone Quarry.  They returned to Kenora in 1970 and he started driving fuel trucks for White Rose which later became Shell.  He spent 33 years with them and retired in 2003. Ted was predeceased by his parents, Everett and Ann, his brothers Neil & Tommy, sisters and

brothers in law, Doris & Dave McCabe, Catherine, and Carl Walsh and his grandson Jayson Morrison.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Pat, daughter Kim (Don Palichuk), sons Kirk, Wade (Lisa

Nault), grandson Michael Morrison (Jannah) and his two very special great-granddaughters Emma and Lily Morrison. His two brothers Jim (Susan) Marathon, Bill (Hughette) Saskatoon, his

sisters Debbie Pitt (Richard) Timmins and Mary Poulin in Kenora and sister in law Kathy Cederwall, Red Rock and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation has taken place and a service for Ted will take place in the summer when safe to travel.

A very special thank you to the Doctors and Nurses on 2nd East at Lake of the Woods District Hospital as they were so kind and took such great care of our dad.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
